May Fabick Cat Charity Fund Winner – 906 Adventure Team

We are proud to announce that the 906 Adventure Team has been selected to receive the $500 employee-prompted donation for the month of May 2023.

The mission of the 906 Adventure Team is to empower people to become the best version of themselves through outdoor adventure. The organization is based in Marquette County and currently serves communities in Brown County, Delta County, Eau Claire County, Gogebic County, Ingham County, Iron County, La Crosse County, Marquette County, and Midland County.

The 906 Adventure team helps build resilient, active youth by exposing them to the local cycling community. Kids need to be involved in teams where they can actively participate to grow and challenge themselves by doing fun yet difficult things. Cycling teams allow each child to participate to their own ability and never have to ride a bench (instead of a bike) because they were not as advanced in skill as their teammates. In a post-Covid world, the 906 Adventure team has been on a mission to get kids back outside, their families out riding, and building the program from one tiny team in Marquette, Michigan to almost a dozen across several states.
