July Fabick Cat Charity Fund Winner – the Wikimedia Foundation

We are proud to announce that the Wikimedia Foundation has been selected to receive the $500 employee prompted donation for the month of July 2021.

The Wikimedia Foundation, Inc is a nonprofit charitable organization dedicated to encouraging the growth, development and distribution of free, multilingual content, and to providing the full content of these wiki-based projects to the public free of charge. They provide the essential infrastructure for collecting and sharing free knowledge that fully represents human diversity. Most will recognize their efforts from Wikipedia, the free online encyclopedia, created, edited, and verified by volunteers around the world, but they also provide platforms for many other vital community projects. All of these projects are made possible thanks to donations and provided at no cost to everyone in the world.
