2025 Springfield Open House
Last week, Fabick Cat’s Springfield location welcomed more than 250 guests to its annual Open House at 2222 E Kearney St, Springfield, MO 65803. The event was a celebration of connection, innovation, and Cat® equipment, offering customers a day packed with hands-on experiences, demonstrations, and appreciation.
Guests enjoyed lunch, door prizes, and engaging activities, including the always-popular Mini Excavator Challenge, where participants used two Cat 304 mini excavators to balance four golf balls on cones—a true test of precision and skill!
This year’s showcase featured the latest Compact Track Loader models—255, 265, and 275—alongside a wide range of Cat equipment, including excavators of all sizes, dozers, track type loaders, an articulated dump truck, and several service trucks.
One of the day’s standout attractions was a beautifully restored 1965 Traxcavator, meticulously brought back to life for Gillespie Excavating Co LLC—a perfect nod to the lasting legacy of Cat machinery.
Attendees also experienced the future of construction firsthand through live demonstrations of autonomous technology, including a self-operating paver and CTL grader. Meanwhile, the Fabick Cat Digital Team was onsite to showcase the digital tools and resources available, helping customers learn how to manage and monitor their equipment more efficiently than ever before.
