SOSSM Fluid analysis is available on all Caterpillar major
oil-lubricated systems, along with all other brands of equipment and engines. SOS Services
provides analysis of wear metals, oil condition and fluid contamination.
Oil Condition: Nitration, Soot, Oxidation, Sulfur, Viscosity and Particle Count.
Fluid Contaminants: Water, Antifreeze and Fuel.
These indicators can help optimize your oil change interval and detect potential problems early.
The results are obvious - you avoid unscheduled downtime, reduce maintenance costs and maximize
oil drain intervals.
Reports can be provided by e-mail, fax or standard mail. You'll be notified immediately if we
identify a problem and recommendations will be made to get you back up and running. Our professional
