TRAINING GENERAL INFORMATION
Introduction
This catalog contains TEPS service training course descriptions, schedule and enrollment forms.
Please note that all classes to be held in the third and fourth quarters will be scheduled in the month of June.
TEPS Service Training Requirements
Minimum training requirements for TEPS dealers are as follows:
Full Service Dealers must have two service technicians certified for each authorized engine model.
Maintenance Service Dealers must have one service technician certified for each authorized engine model.
Certification is valid for a two-year period. At that time a technician must be recertified. TEPS dealer service managers are responsible for ensuring that training requirements are being met at all times.
2008 Schedule Credit System
Fabick CAT will be using a system of credits to help track the charges against your per year training fee. For the $1600.00 charge each TEPS dealer will receive 4 annual credits.
Classes will be charged as follows:
Three (3) and four (4) day classes will be charged at two (2) credits per student.
One (1) and two (2) day classes will be charged at one (1) credit per student.
Additional students will be charged at regular rates per the course listings.
Off site classes will be charged at regular rates per course, per student, per day, plus cost of room / board of instructor. (credit units will not be allowed)
Enrollment Procedures
An enrollment form is provided on this page for both online and print use. Class sizes are limited to eight (8) students, so early enrollments are encouraged. Forms should be sent in one of the following ways.

Please include your fax number and e-mail address on the enrollment form, so we may send confirmation of enrollment. If fax or e-mail address is unavailable, a confirmation will be sent to your dealership attention to the service manager.

Please complete enrollment form online or download, print and fill out enrollment sheet(s) with purchase order number and either fax or e-mail to

Cancellations
Classes may be cancelled if there are fewer than 4 registrations two weeks prior to class start. Fabick Cat cancellations can be made up to five days prior to the course with full refund of course fee returned to the dealer. Cancellations by TEPS dealers within four days or less from the date of the course does not qualify for enrollment fee refund.
Dress Code
These courses are of a "hands on nature". Normal work clothes and shoes are required. We do request that your technicians please wear their work uniforms. Loose clothing, tee shirts, running or open toed shoes are NOT ACCEPTABLE.

Please indicate on the registration form if you require hotel reservations. Contact Suzette Mora at (636) 349-5500 ext.1471 for hotel information and pricing. She will set up reservations for technicians at your request.
Materials
Students that are certified will receive a certificate upon completion of a final written exam with a score of 80% or higher.
