Chassis Dynamometer
Our state of the art chassis dynamometer allows us to quickly identify
service problems such as low horsepower, overheating and emissions
concerns. The Caterpillar Performance Analysis Report takes the guess
work out of correcting low power complaints. During the computerized
dyno run, all essential engine information is recorded and then compared
to the engine's original performance specifications. Once the problem
is identified and the repairs have been made, the chassis dynamometer
will verify the problem has been corrected. After an overhaul all engines
are run on the dyno to perform correct engine break-in.
