For medium to high hour peaking or base load applications, Fabick CAT offers new
natural gas reciprocating generator set technology from Caterpillar. This technology
leads the market in terms of high efficiency and low emissions, giving the customer
the flexibility to run longer hours without permitting issues or maintenance concerns.
In addition, with the joint venture between Caterpillar and Eaton Electrical, Fabick
CAT can offer a complete turnkey power plant solution including Automatic Transfer
Switches and Caterpillar Switchgear with PowerLynx® technology, giving the
customer a single point of accountability for all components in their power plant.
Load Bank Testing
Generator load bank testing serves two purposes. First it ensures your generator will
operate at its maximum capacity for an extended period of time. Secondly, diesel engines
are subject to a condition known as "Wet Stacking." This condition appears
when diesel engines are continuously operated under light or no load conditions. Symptoms
are signs of an oily black substance leaking from the exhaust system. Running the engine
at maximum load using a load bank will rectify the "Wet Stacking" problem.
Our load bank tests are also in compliance with requirements for NFPA 110 and JCHAO
regulations for emergency generator testing.
