Diesel Fuel Analysis & Filtering Services
|

Diesel fuel in emergency generators can experience microbial growth when the
fuel is stored for an extended period of time. Water in the fuel tanks is inevitable
due to venting and condensation. This water in the fuel spawns the microbial growth
that can plug fuel filters and shut down your emergency generator leaving you in the
dark. Our 7 stage filtering system can remove water and other contaminants from
your stored diesel fuel tank, without replacing the fuel.
Some standby generators are shipped with very large fuel tanks so that they can run
for several days in case of a power outage. The problem is that unless the unit is
run under load on a regular basis the fuel tends to get old. Some units have the same
fuel in the tank for years which creates a problem when outages occur. Our filtering
system takes about an hour to filter 200 gallons of fuel. This service may not be
available for all units with underground tanks. |
